Eight random facts about me

Cammy Bean tagged me to encourage me to let you even deeper into my secret world, so of course I must.

First, the Rules:

1. Post these rules before you give your facts.
2. List 8 random facts about yourself.
3. At the end of your post, choose (tag) 8 people and list their names, linking to them.
4. Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they've been tagged.

And now the eight random (how can they be random?) facts about me:

1. I was married at 19.
2. My first wife, Janet, died in 1995 from a brain tumour, while we were in Los Angeles. We had been married 24 years (and who says those teenage weddings don't last!).
3. I have two children from my first marriage - Gavin and Duncan - both of whom are now in their 30s and both married.
4. I also now have two grandchildren, Ella and Barney.
5. I was married again, within 2 years of Janet's death, to Sue.
6. Sue was also married in her teens.
7. Sue also has two grown-up children, Jilly and Ben, and one grandchild so far, Joe. Sue's first marriage also lasted 24 years.
8. There's a certain symmetry to all this. I like symmetry.

And so now I get to choose my victims. Sorry if you've already been done.
